2011-2012 Re-enrollment and Registration

Paideia Academy is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year. We have openings in grades 2 - 12. We also offer a summer school program for students who are struggling or who want to get ahead. Summer school begins June 13th and ends August 5th. The sessions are from 9 - 12 and 12:30 - 3:30. Your children are welcome to come for the morning session, afternoon session, or stay for both. Registration for summer school is $50 per student. After registration, you only pay for the sessions you attend. Each 3 hour session is $15 (no pro-rata). If you are interested in the school year or summer school, please give John Crowder a call at (925)628-4033.

Play Chess Online Against Mr. Crowder

Would you like to play chess against your teacher online? If so, have your parents log you on to gameknot.com, an internet chess site. You will have to pick a name. Mr. Crowder plays under the name sydneycarton, an allusion to a character in the novel "A Tale of Two Cities." Once you are on the web site you can look him up under "Players" and challenge him to a game.

Remember INTERNET SAFETY!! Always have your parents observe what you are doing when on the internet. Although I have never seen any problems on this site, there are some bad people on the internet. Having your parents observe what you are doing will keep you safe.
